## Why Is KARE Hosting Giveaway May?

Throughout April, KARE dove into some of the "showers", or challenging realities, of working in senior living:

- Seniors not receiving the physical activity needed to remain healthy, happy, and independent.
- The struggle to connect with and break through apathy in seniors living with dementia.
- The complexities of caring for residents who have suffered past trauma.\*

May is right around the corner, and you know what they say...."May flowers can only bloom following April showers." With Giveaway May, we celebrate the journey that brought you to where you are now and shed light on ways to build a better tomorrow. Each week, we're offering giveaways designed to support and reward you.

Tune in Mondays of each week for a hint of what the giveaway is and Wednesdays for the giveaway announcement!
